Superior display on sunday night by Chiefs against rivals Dundalk Bulls

Last night we have seen game which was anticipated for a long time and many supporters arrived to Dundalk Ice dome and filled it in almost to the roof  to show their support to favourite team.

IIHL first round is coming to an end and it was clear that this game at this stage would decide who would be on top at the end of this 1 st round in IIHL. Dundalk Bulls were leaders on the day having won 4 out of 4 games leaving Chiefs in second place, however Chiefs had game in hand.

From very face off Bulls looked better side and could control puck better. Chiefs did not handle puck wel at the beginning and gave in to Bulls attack to fall behind 1 goal.

Chiefs improved their passing and were able to control game, but Bulls made really good counter attacks and led the 1st period 2:1 against Chiefs.

Second period and third Cheifs improved their game with some great combinations and were able to to extend their and finish the game at 10:2 result.

Man of the match is ex Bulls , but now Chiefs player Vitaytas Lukosevicius who scored 3 goals on the night!

Other Chiefs scorers are - Stephen Adams(2),  Oļegs Staltmanis, Dmitrijs Fjodorovs, Aleksandrs Fjodorovs, Viktors Serdjukovs, Aigars Brencis !

It was great game to watch and everybody is looking forward for next encounter of these 2 teams!
