Following the cancellation of the IIHL game between the Flyers vs Chiefs, the Recreational League decided to take the opportunity to build a Select team to play against the Chiefs. Players from Bulls B, Whalers, Vixens and Cubs have been called to take part of it.

On 25th October Chiefs were playing Dublin Rams in Dundalk Ice dome in IIHA league.
